This privacy policy informs about the type, scope and purpose of processing personal data when using the app Parking Reminder - Car Finder.
The app requests the following permissions:
- GPS coordinates and resolved addresses of saved parking spots
- Photos taken of parking spots
- Notes and parking meter timer settings
- User settings (language, theme, color scheme, navigation app preference)
- Text-to-Speech is used for reading addresses aloud but does not record or transmit any data
All data is stored exclusively locally on the user's device using a local database. No data is transmitted to external servers or third parties. Navigation requests are handled by the user's chosen navigation app (e.g. Google Maps, TomTom).
Processing is based on consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or to fulfill user services requested by the user.
No data is shared with third parties. The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics services.
Parking spots, photos and settings are stored as long as the app is installed. Deleted spots are moved to a trash where they can be restored or permanently deleted. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from the device.
All data is stored locally on the device and protected by the device's security features.
