This privacy policy informs about the type, scope and purpose of processing personal data when using the app Shopping Manager Classic.
The app requests the following permission:
Selecting an existing image from your gallery is handled through the Android system photo picker and does not require any additional permission.
- Shopping items and their details (name, quantity, unit, price, note, aisle, priority, tax flags, coupon, dates)
- Shops, categories and units you create
- Photos of items taken with the camera or selected from your gallery
- One or more shopping lists/databases
- User settings (language, theme, color scheme, font sizes, display and sorting options)
- CSV files that you choose to import or export
All data is stored exclusively locally on the user's device using a local database and local app storage. No data is transmitted to external servers or third parties. The app has no internet permission and works fully offline. If you choose to export or share a list (e.g. via email or another app), the data is handed to the app you select.
Processing is based on consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or to fulfill user services requested by the user.
No data is shared with third parties. The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics services.
Items, photos, lists and settings are stored as long as the app is installed. Deleted items, shops and categories are moved to a trash where they can be restored or permanently deleted. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from the device.
All data is stored locally on the device and protected by the device's security features.
